One Monday morning an old blue bike is locked outside Léa's repair workshop by the Canal Saint-Martin in Paris. There is no note and no owner, only a small key under the saddle with an address on the tag. Léa and her new neighbour Sam, a Londoner who speaks very little French, have until Wednesday to find out whose bike it is. C'est lundi. Il est huit heures. Léa arrive à son atelier. Un atelier, c'est un petit magasin pour travailler. Léa répare des vélos.
L'atelier est près du canal Saint-Martin, à Paris. Le canal, c'est une petite rivière dans la ville.
Devant la porte, il y a un vélo. Un vélo bleu. Il est vieux, mais il est beau. C'est un vélo ancien.
Le vélo a un cadenas. Il n'y a pas de nom. Il n'y a pas de message.
Léa regarde sous la selle. Il y a une petite clé. Sur la clé, il y a une étiquette : « 4, rue de Lancry ».
